President Bray

Keith Bray is a Senior here at Hilliard Davidson. While being on of the founding members of this club along with Katherine and Kevin, Keith is also involved in various other activities. Keith is Section Leader of the Baritone section in the Marching Band as well as Vice President of the Marching Band. Keith is also a Life Scout in Scout Troop 814. He has also been active in the 66th O.V.I. Civil War re-enactors for five years. With a huge passion for history, Keith hopes to go to collage to pursue a degree in History.

President Position

The President is to be appointed by a majority vote of the enrolled club members at the time of the election. This election should be held at the last meeting of the club for the year by either paper ballot or electronic ballot using Google Forms. The person who is appointed president will become the President the following year. The term of president lasts one year. The president should be someone who is knowledgeable in all eras of American History ranging from the Revolutionary War (1775) to the Age of Globalization (Present). To assure that this person has this knowledge, all candidates for president must have completed Social Studies 8 or Creating America and be taking or have completed AP United States History or United States History. For the 2017-2018 school year, there will be no majority vote election, the President will be predetermined by the founders before the first meeting.

The role of the President is to lead and plan club meetings, coordinate trips to reenactments, coordinate events with the Hilliard Historical Society, assist officers in their work and to appoint the officers of the club according to Article III, Section I. The President is also in charge of maintaining a digital and physical copy of this constitution that must be passed on from president to president.
