Quartermaster Position

The Quartermaster of the club is to be appointed by the President as stated in Article III, Section I. The Quartermaster is in charge of keeping track of all historical items used by the club and actively seeking out items for used of the club. These items can be items on loan to the club or items owned by club members. The Quartermaster does not necessarily need to hold and store these items, he or she must keep a record of who owns them and where they can be obtained if needed for an event. The Quartermaster may not use club funds to purchase items without the approval of the President. Items purchased with club funds should be passed on to the next Quartermaster year after year to insure that the item stays in the hands of the club (Article III, Section II of the American History Club Constitution).
